Crumbly Apple Crisp
Buttery, crumbly and moist apple crisp recipe. Super easy to make. My mom prefers Cortland and MacIntosh apples, but I use Gala and Fuji. Make double topping for extra crumble. My twist is ground cardamom. Serve with vanilla bean ice cream.

Ingredients
4-5 cups apples, peeled and sliced thin
1 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 ground nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, room temp
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F).
Lay apples into baking dish (square for single portion, 9x13 for double).
Blend ingredients well.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake 35 min. (45 min for double topping - or triple!).
